Dr. Nicole Malecek joined our team at VCA Arroyo in 2015.

She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Animal Science. She received her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. Dr. Malecek completed a rotating internship VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Specialty Center in San Diego.

Dr. Malecek has a special interest in acupuncture, canine rehabilitation and emergency medicine. She became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2016.

In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, cooking, traveling, rock climbing, and surfing with her husband.
