Ann brings a wealth of diverse experience to the VCA Capital Area Veterinary Specialists surgery team. Her background spans nearly every facet of the field, including general practice, emergency medicine, urgent care, and specialty services. Beyond her clinical work, Ann has also contributed to the future of the profession as an online instructor for a veterinary technician program.

One of Ann's most significant professional milestones took place in the summer of 2025. She traveled to the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota to participate in a field clinic with Humane World for Animals. During this mission, she donated her time and technical expertise to provide essential veterinary care to a community in need.
Outside the hospital, you can usually find her swimming laps three to four times a week before sunrise. When she isn't in the pool or the OR, she stays busy reading, playing the violin, and studying new languages.
