Kierra joined VCA CAVS' Medical Oncology department in 2024, bringing her passion for animal care and bachelor's degree in animal science to our team. Growing up immersed in the rodeo world, with horses and cattle all around her, sparked her love for working with horses that shapes how she cares for animals today.
What Kierra finds most rewarding about her role is witnessing patients return to health and providing pet owners with both hope and comfort during challenging times. She believes strongly in the partnership between veterinary professionals and pet parents, emphasizing that this collaboration is essential to successful treatment outcomes. Her commitment to patient care is matched by her dedication to clear communication with owners.
