Jaya was born and raised in Apple Valley, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota and graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She then attended Argosy University and graduated in the Spring of 2016 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined the VCA Cedar family in 2014 as part of the Animal Care Team, and became one of their veterinary technicians in 2016 after completing her degree, and is now our technician supervisor. In her free time, Jaya loves spending time with her talkative and energetic cats, Kovu and Merlin, and enjoys traveling with her family, nationally and internationally. She is excited to continue to expand her knowledge on how to best care for our furry, scaled and feathered family members!
