Dr. Underwood has spent most of her life in the West Michigan area, with brief stints in Minneapolis and Norway during her undergraduate studies. She returned to Michigan to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University and has since dedicated herself to emergency veterinary care.
Her professional interests include wound management, emergency surgery, and endoscopic foreign body retrieval.
