Dr. Katie Strong earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science Production Medicine Scholars and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. With nearly a decade of experience in emergency medicine and surgery, Dr. Strong has developed a wealth of knowledge while practicing in the Southwestern Michigan community.
A native of Michigan, Dr. Strong enjoys spending time with her husband and twin boys. Outside of work, she loves the outdoors, riding her Peloton, and attending classic car shows. She shares her home with two dogs, two ponies, and aquarium fish. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery and critical care. Dr. Strong is passionate about the collaborative nature of emergency medicine and enjoys mentoring newer colleagues in the field. She has a special empathy for pet owners navigating difficult times and is dedicated to offering compassionate care and support during those challenging moments.
