Originally from sunny Los Angeles, Dr. Quintana always had a deep love for animals and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others. This passion led him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, and he graduated from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. His clinical year was spent at Oregon State University, where he had the opportunity to further hone his skills and deepen his knowledge in the field.
After graduation, Dr. Quintana moved to San Diego, where he completed a rotating internship at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center. In 2022, Dr. Quintana was excited to join the team at VCA Main Street Animal Hospital, where he continues to work as a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian.
Dr. Quintana's areas of medical interest include client education, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging—each of which allows him to build strong relationships with both pets and their families while providing the best possible care. He believes in empowering pet owners with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their pets' health and well-being. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Quintana love exploring San Diego with his goofy dog, Milo, trying new restaurants, spending time at the beach, and tabletop gaming. He's also a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast and is open to any drink suggestions! He is thrilled to meet your pets and is always ready to provide support and guidance, whether it's for routine care or more specialized needs. Helping pets and their families is his true calling, and he hopes to make a positive impact on their lives.
