Team Spotlight
Dr. Jena Benavente, DVM, CVMMP, was born and raised here in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her undergraduate and veterinary degree at Texas A&M University and has been practicing in small animal medicine for over 15 years. Presently she is our Medical Director here at VCA Oak Hills.
Dr. Benavente has a particular interest, and certification, in chiropractic care of dogs and cats. She also advocates using our therapeutic laser to assist in pain management. In addition, she enjoys internal medicine cases and soft tissue surgery.
