I grew up in Massachusetts, moved to Colorado, and went to Colorado State University for undergraduate and got my DVM in 1984 from CSU.

I am married and have 2 kids; one works on a ranch in Nebraska and the other at a veterinary hospital in Seattle.

I have a dog who I think is the best in the world and cats. Some activities I like to do outside of work are ski, swim, hike, and like anyone, I wish I could travel.
