Kelly grew up in San Lorenzo, CA. Her husband is in the military and they have lived in Florida, Spain, California, New Mexico, and now Washington. Kelly is passionate about vet med because she had a cocker spaniel puppy growing up that she was in charge of training.

Kelly has an Associate's Degree in medical administration, and is working on another Associate's degree to become a Veterinary Technician. Her favorite subject so far is dental cleaning. One of the most interesting facts she has learned is that fish are hermaphrodites.

Her favorite dog breeds are cocker spaniels and Labrador retrievers. Kelly has four pets at home, three dogs and one sweet kitten. She has a malamute named Timber, a border collie named Scout, a cocker spaniel named Charlie, and a small gray ragdoll kitten named Lilo.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys watching anime with her son. She also loves reading and playing video games.
