Tanya is a born and raised New Yorker. While growing up, Tanya always wanted to be a veterinarian, but eventually decided being a technician is where her heart belonged. She has been in the field since 1996, when she began volunteering at animal hospitals, horse stables, and the Staten Island Zoo. She is passionate about the field and loves giving all of her patients lots of TLC and educating their families about their care. Tanya is now the hospital manager of South Shore Animal Hospital where she has worked since 2006 as one of the lead technicians of the practice. When not working, Tanya enjoys spending time with her daughters, two cats, and her little feisty Chihuahua, Daisy.
