During the summer of 2016, as part of her studies at Becker College, Mikayla completed a 200-hour preceptorship here at VCA Sterling Animal Hospital, and upon completion, she was offered a position as a Veterinary Technician. She passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in August of 2016. In May of 2017 she graduated from Becker College cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences.

Mikayla’s love for animals started at an early age. She grew up around all types of animals, including dogs, cats, and horses. In her spare time Mikayla enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, hiking, going to the beach, and training her three dogs.
