Michael graduated in 1995 from Parkland College veterinary technician program in Champaign Illinois. Michael joined VCA Swengel Animal Hospital in 2004 and is in charge of laboratory maintenance and quality control. Some of Michael's favorite aspects of veterinary medicine include Parasitology (Michael is often called "the bug boy"), client education and interacting with their pets. Michael loves working with animals and is proud of the high level of care and compassion provided by the entire staff at VCA Swengel Animal Hospital. Michael has been happily married for 25 years and loves bicycling, tennis, entomology, astronomy and reading history. He also serves as the children's minister at his church.
