Dr. Delerys Rullán Cardec was born and raised in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. She earned her undergraduate degree in animal science from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. Dr. Rullan completed her clinical year at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts.
Following graduation, Dr. Rullán practiced as a general practitioner in Massachusetts before relocating to North Carolina. Her professional interests include surgery, dermatology, internal medicine, and senior pet care, with a strong focus on providing compassionate, comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Rullán enjoys gardening, baking, and spending quality time with her family.
