Dr. Shaylan Meyer
Dr. Shaylan Meyer was born and raised on Long Island. She attended Binghamton University and graduated with degrees in Biology and English. Her veterinary education started in sunny St. Kitts at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. For her clinical rotations, Dr. Meyer traded her flip flops for snow boots and attended the University of Minnesota. Her special interests include orthopedics and emergency procedures.

In her free time, you can catch Dr. Meyer playing armchair quarterback to her beloved sports teams, receiving a robust culinary education from any Netflix cooking show, or spending lazy days reading at the beach. She is ecstatic to be back home on Long Island with her husband, their dog, Quinn, and their cat, Josie.
