Dr. Joseph Fragale was born and raised on Long Island. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in forensic science from CUNY John Jay in 2018. He then moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. While attending the University of Florida, he completed certifications in Fear Free animal care and Shelter Medicine. 

He is excited to be back on Long Island and to join the VREC Westbury team. In his free time, he enjoys kayaking, fishing, and volleyball, in addition to taking naps with his shelter dog named Joe.
