As the hospital manager of VCA Wingate, Chance brings over a decade of experience in the veterinary industry, initially starting as a veterinary assistant in 2008. Throughout his career, he has embraced various roles, accumulating extensive knowledge and expertise in veterinary medicine. This diverse background has equipped him to effectively manage the operations of VCA Wingate while upholding a steadfast commitment to excellence.
Specializing in handling working breeds and nervous dogs and cats, Chance is dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives personalized care and attention. His passion lies in advocating for each animal's voice in their medical care journey, striving to provide the highest level of compassion and professionalism.
In addition to his work with traditional pets, Chance has a keen interest in exotic animals, particularly sugar gliders, chickens, and quail, which have been cherished members of his own family. Alongside his beloved pets, Ruby Rose (a dachshund) and Kooper (a husky), he shares his home with a fascinating array of tarantulas.
Beyond his role at VCA Wingate, Chance harbors a new aspiration: to contribute to the advancement of veterinary education and mentorship. He aims to foster the next generation of veterinary professionals by sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience.
