Dr. Gong was born and raised in Los Angeles. She obtained her bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Southern California. She then graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a rigorous 1-year rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles. She enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, and her cat.
