Dr. Karis Stinson received her undergraduate degree in Animal Biotechnology and Conservation from Delaware Valley College, where she majored in Small Animal Science. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She hails from central New Jersey and has been a part of the VCA family for over 16 years. Her professional interests include dentistry, surgery, cold laser therapy, and internal medicine.

During her free time, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. Dr. Stinson and her husband are pet parents to 3 cats (Klaus, Lynx and Spartacus) and 3 dogs (Bull, Aurora and Ariel). She's excited to begin this new chapter of her veterinary career at Abri Animal Hospital!
