Jen is thrilled to be serving as the hospital manager here at VCA Adams Animal Hospital, where she's had the privilege of being part of the team since March 2025. Her journey in the veterinary field began in 2004, right after high school, when she joined the U.S. Army as an animal care specialist. After completing her military service, Jen continued her passion for animal care as a veterinary technician, a role she held for 20 years.
Throughout her career, Jen had the opportunity to serve as a technician supervisor, where she truly valued the combination of hands-on care and leadership. In 2019, after an injury, she transitioned out of clinical work and took on the role of client service supervisor. This role not only allowed Jen to expand her skills, but also deepened her commitment to providing exceptional care to our clients.
These diverse experiences have shaped Jen's leadership style, and she is proud to now serve as the hospital manager, where she focuses on supporting both our dedicated team and our clients with compassion, efficiency, and professionalism.
When she's not at the hospital, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. They share their home with three cats—Tux, Peaches, and Toulouse—and a dog named Poppy. In her spare time, you can usually find Jen crafting, baking, or tending to her garden.
