"At a young age I knew that I loved animals. As a child, I had several pets ranging from cats, dogs, rabbits, and horses. I learned how to care for them and enjoy their company. I began working in accounting and soon realized it did not bring me joy. I was encouraged by an old friend to pursue my passion to work with animals. As Confucius said, 'Find a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life.' I began work as a veterinarian assistant in 1986. I got great enjoyment helping animals. I believe it is my life's calling to assist pet owners and their pets."
