Lenore Mohammadian
Veterinary Specialist DVM, MSpVM, DACVR
Dr. Mohammadian completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a Master’s in Specialized Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University and received her DVM degree from Cornell University. She completed a rotating internship in a small animal medicine and surgery at the Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego.

Dr. Mohammadian enjoys the art of veterinary medicine, and she found her passion for radiology. As a radiologist, she gets to use technology to see inside of patients non-invasively. A picture can say many time more than 1000 words, and she can review radiographs (X-rays), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), as well as perform an ultrasound and fluoroscopic procedures. Her special interests are in cancer imaging and minimally invasive biopsy techniques. Working with a talented group of doctors at VCA CVS allows Dr. Mohammadian to be an integral part of our patient care.

Dr. Mohammadian has been awarded the Merck Award, Gamma Sigma Delta, Agricultural Honors Society, Phi Zeta, National Veterinary Honors Society, P. Philip Levine Prize in Avian Medicine and Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Mohammadian has a terrier mutt who was found running along the freeway, a failed CCI black lab, a one-eyed Persian cat who was a rescue from the 2007 wildfires and an orange rescue house cat. Besides the furry ones, Dr. Mohammadian has had an aquarium of African cichlids for nearly 20 years and a koi pond with some beautiful fish as well as a red-eared slider rescued from a trailer park. Most of all, she enjoys time with my family, friends, animals, a book and a glass (or 2) of wine.
