Christian Osmond
Veterinary Specialist DVM, DACVS
Dr. Christian Osmond is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s School of Veterinary Medicine. After he had earned his doctorate in veterinary medicine, he completed an internship in medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, California. He then completed his three-year residency in small animal surgery at North Carolina State University. Dr. Osmond has authored multiple scientific articles and is a clinical professor at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Osmond has extensive experience in soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurosurgery. His interests include oncology (cancer) surgery, as well as minimally invasive surgery and pain management. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Osmond enjoys flying airplanes, surfing, backpacking, skiing, playing the violin, and spending time with his wife Linda, dog, Piper, and cat, Grayee The Spot.

For the past several years, he has been devoted to developing the surgical service at our Ontario hospital and is excited to be returning to his home base in Carlsbad.
