Dr. Liz Wahl spent five years as an aeronautical engineer before finding veterinary medicine. She's a graduate of both Purdue University (B.S. in 2008) and Virginia Tech (M.S. in 2010). She relocated from San Diego to North Carolina to attend NC State Vet School and be closer to family, graduating in 2020.    

Dr. Wahl has an interest in life-long preventative care and integrative medicine. She's trained in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) via the Chi Institute and is continuing to expand her knowledge and skill. She's also passionate about sports medicine and the canine athlete.  

Dr. Wahl has two border collies Jetson and Whip who both play flyball and frisbee. When she's not playing with her pups, she enjoys DIY house projects, riding her electric skateboard, hiking, and visiting family.
