Safe Visit Procedures at Your VCA Animal Hospital

We understand that veterinary care is an essential part of our community, and we want to reassure you that our hospitals are open and will continue to provide required medical services amid the COVID-19 situation.

Everyone’s safety remains a top priority. You may visit our hospital as needed unless you are sick or medically quarantined. Each VCA hospital has health and safety protocols in place based on health care best practices as well as state and local guidance and regulations. These may include, but are not limited to, curbside check-in, health screenings, temperature checks and social distancing measures.

Note, all persons entering our hospitals must wear a face covering.

Please call us before your visit so we can discuss the necessary safety protocols.

Curbside check-in is now in place at VCA hospitals.
This allows us to give your pet the same fantastic care they are used to at our hospitals, while keeping both you and our health care team members as safe as possible. Watch this quick video to see how it works.

Based on health care best practices as well as state and local guidance and regulations, some hospitals are starting to allow clients back inside with their pets for certain types of appointments. With everyone’s safety in mind, our teams at these hospitals will ask that you follow a few important safety protocols.

  1. Wear face coverings while inside the hospital
  2. Respond to health screening questions and receive a temperature check prior to entering the hospital
  3. Maintain social distancing (minimum of 6 feet) during the visit

Please call us before your visit so we can help prepare you in advance for the safety protocols that may be necessary, and answer any questions you may have.
