Internship - VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital

Dr. Anne Murphy, a native of Ohio, graduated from Ohio State University in 1990. She joined the VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital team that same year as part of their Internship Program and at its conclusion accepted the invitation to stay on. For over 20 years, Dr. Murphy has become a staple at the VCA HAH and is best known for her special interest in ultrasonography, echocardiography, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Although this was not always Dr. Murphy's calling. As a child, Anne, longed for a pony and pestered her parents to no avail. It was then that she decided to become a horse vet "so she could be surrounded by them ponies everyday". Once in vet school, her passions thankfully turned toward small animal care.

When not at the VCA HAH, Dr. Murphy, enjoys spending time with her husband rooting for the OSU Buckeyes, cooking and traveling. Although she always loves returning home to her Labrador- Guiness, her cats- Tommy Bay and Finn and her Catalina Macaw- Max.
