Julia D.
Patient Care Coordinator LVT, CPhT

Department: Emergency Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging

Julie has twenty three years of experience in the field of veterinary medicine; particularly in the area of emergency and critical care.

She worked nine years in small animal private practice in the role of senior technician and office manager and has dedicated fourteen years to emergency and critical care.

Julie believes that one's willingness to learn should never end and enjoys attending continuing education events whenever possible. She is a member of many professional organizations including the Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine and the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association. In 2015 she was elected by the licensed technicians of Nebraska to serve on the NVMA Board of Directors as the LVT Director and was a member of the Continuing Education Committee.

Julie has also volunteered as an evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen program.

While working in small animal practice Julie served four years as the animal control officer for the small town she lives near. This gave her ample opportunity to rescue, foster, and help pets find loving homes. Neonate kittens are her favorite but she will always have an open heart and home for any pet in need.
