Dr. Thorne graduated from The Atlantic Veterinary College in 2017 and joined the VCA New Hartford Animal Hospital in 2019. A New York native, she received her Associates' degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Delhi in 2010 and her Bachelor's degree in Biology from SUNY Binghamton in 2012. Dr. Thorne has always been passionate about animals and has spent her life working with them. She started out as a veterinary assistant, went on to become a licensed veterinary technician, and ultimately achieved her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. Thorne lives with her husband and two senior rescue kitties. Her veterinary interests include geriatric medicine, feline medicine, and dermatology.
