Dr. Val Urbonaite graduated from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies in January of 2018. Her clinical year was completed at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Spanish from Drew University in Madison, NJ in 2014. Dr. Urbonaite enjoyed being involved with community outreach in Grenada where she volunteered for One Health One Medicine - an organization that provided veterinary medical care and surgical clinics free of charge to the island.

While in Athens, Dr. Urbonaite enjoyed volunteering her time at Gwinnett County Animal Shelter spay/neuter program along with the Humane Society of Athens.

Aside from veterinary medicine, Dr. Urbonaite is passionate about being outdoors and hiking, the beach, her mixed dog Star and senior pug Jesse, painting/sketching, traveling and spending time with family.

European born but having grown up in northern New Jersey, Dr. Urbonaite was looking to return to her home state. She found a fantastic team to join at the NPVH group! She is excited to get to know you, your family and your pets!
