Melanie has been around animals for her entire life, and works alongside her mother, Rhonda, whom she inspires to be like. She is currently working on getting her license to become a licensed veterinary technician. Melanie is a native to the area and has grown up in the Kitsap County her entire life.
She has one horse, one cat and one dog; Biff is a sorrel quarter horse and is 21 years old, but still acts young. Alvin is a five-year-old domestic short hair; he is a complete menace to society. Harry is a two-year-old dachshund who is named after Harry Potter, and has alopecia, so he is completely bald. During Melanie's free time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and animals.
