Alessandra began her career as a veterinary assistant in general practice and quickly realized veterinary medicine was her calling. She began the process of becoming a credentialed veterinary technician, and earned her license and degree in 2008. She completed her internship at the Animal Medical Center in NYC, where she stayed for the next ten years. During that time, she worked in the Emergency and Critical Care department, and the Internal Medicine department. Alessandra then accepted a manager position at the ASPCA Animal Hospital where she gained experience in forensic and shelter medicine. During this time, she also became a Fear Free Certified Practitioner, Level 2. Alessandra recently moved to Florida and completed a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Business Administration at Suny Canton. She has two senior Chihuahuas named Little and Pants, and a rescue Pitbull named Gizzy. In her spare time, she enjoys reselling, crafting and hiking.
