Dr. Shaun Goulet (He/Him/His) was born and raised in Southeast Michigan (Milford to be exact)! He attended the University of Michigan before transferring to his Alma Mater, Michigan State University. He completed his B.S. in Veterinary Sciences while dual-enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at Michigan State. During his time at Michigan State, Dr. Goulet gained experience working with both small and large animals, as well as with zoo, wildlife, and exotic animals. Dr. Goulet also had the opportunity to aid in research to better understand the behaviors of Yucatán Black Howler monkeys with colleagues from Michigan State and Stafford University. Dr. Goulet graduated from the veterinary medicine program at Michigan State University in May 2022 and made the move out to Denver that summer. Dr. Goulet's professional interests include research, client/community education and outreach, as well as surgery. Dr. Goulet also plans to study exotic/wildlife animal medicine to encompass a larger variety of patients in the future! In his free time, you can find Dr. Goulet exploring the mountain towns of Colorado, visiting state and national parks, playing kickball with his intramural team, listening to great music, and improving his hobbies of photography and video editing! Dr. Goulet would be amiss to forget mentioning spending time with his grey tabby, Irwin!
