Dr. Srijana Pradhan grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal and she moved to the United States for higher education. She received her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Business from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After that she performed biomedical research at 3M Company in St. Paul, Minnesota for a year. Dr. Pradhan then attended Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2012. During vet school Dr. Pradhan participated in research pertaining to laryngeal paralysis and polyneuropathy in dogs. She made the move from the Midwest to Denver to complete a year long rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. After she completed her internship Dr. Pradhan volunteered her time and skills as a veterinarian at the Denver Dumb Friends League. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine and shelter medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Pradhan enjoys photography, hiking, trekking, live music and cooking. Because of the mountains Colorado has been the closest thing to home for Dr. Pradhan and she especially likes exploring it with her husband and their dog Maya.
