Dr. Wilson attended Harvard University, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree (1999), and then attended Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine for her doctoral degree (2005), during which time she took a course in wildlife and capture medicine in South Africa. After vet school, she completed a year-long internship in internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, neurology, and emergency medicine at Animal Emergency and Referral Center in the Chicago area. She spent 5 years in Kalamazoo practicing emergency medicine at VCA Veterinary Surgery and Referral Center, where she still enjoys doing occasional emergency relief shifts. She has been in general practice since late 2010. She lives in Battle Creek with her wife, children and pets. She enjoys scuba diving, cooking, cheese making and traveling.
