Maia has always loved animals and keeps coming back to them in some way! Having previously worked in human medicine, she is now back in the veterinary field. She enjoys helping those without voices to speak on what's wrong. (Plus, "animals are cute!")
Maia holds a bachelor's in zoology from Washington State University. This allowed her the ability to feed tigers!
Maia also has three cats. Koda, Nimbus, and Sarabi; who are all siblings. She's looking to add a fourth!
When she's not helping animals, she is often out for photography trips. But, not too far from animals as she enjoys the hobby of birding photography, specifically, and being out in nature.
