Melanie graduated with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Washington State University, where her interest in animal health grew into a strong passion for veterinary medicine. Through her experiences, she has come to appreciate the balance of science, problem-solving, and compassion that veterinary medicine requires, and she enjoys supporting the veterinary team by providing calm, attentive, and compassionate care to patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys taking her miniature Australian Shepherd, Nala, on hikes or staying in to watch movies together.
