Raised in Hawaii and California, Mhara has worked at a few VCA locations before joining us at Rose Hill! She has studied at DigiPen Institute of Technology before receiving her AAS from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle. She is a cat mom to Revan (pictured with Mhara), a vocal tuxedo girl, and the late Icy. Under Mhara's care, both "sassy ladies" have been very spoiled! 

A true cat person, Mhara's favorite part of her job is "... working with kitties and sometimes especially, the grumps! Makes me happy helping animals get/stay healthy."

Mhara is Fear Free and Cat Friendly Certified. She is particularly interested in veterinary imaging, as well!

Outside of work, you can find Mhara diving into one of her many interests: gaming, art, crochet, reading, programming, astronomy, math, and learning writing systems (fictional, as in Aurebesh from Star Wars, and Unitologist Script from Dead Space—as well as real systems such as Katakana/Hiragana, Cyrillic, and Arabic)!
