Jaime has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary industry. Originally from Northern Virginia, she earned her bachelor's degree in Sarasota, Florida. Jaime began her career at a veterinary surgical practice in Northern Virginia, where she worked for eight years before transitioning into veterinary oncology as an office manager. She later expanded her leadership skills at a large veterinary referral practice.
In the fall of 2016, Jaime relocated to Northern California to be closer to family. There, she worked in several small animal practices and with a non-profit service dog organization before joining VCA Animal Hospitals.
Outside of work, Jaime enjoys hiking local trails with her Lab/Golden Retriever mix, Finn. She also shares her home with a long-haired tabby cat named Timber and two Chiweenies, Kingston and Sadie. Jaime helps care for a medium-sized outdoor feline colony on her property. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, painting, drawing, and playing video games.
Jaime has a deep passion for animal surgery and anesthesia—areas where she began her career—but her dedication to animal welfare in all forms remains her top priority.
