Dr. Stern is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgery in small animal surgery. After attending Tufts University for veterinary school, Dr. Stern completed an internship at Dove Lewis in Portland, Oregon, before returning to the east coast. She completed a surgical internship and residency at VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk. Dr. Stern provides surgery mentorship to associate veterinarians, and also operates out of VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT, as well as providing emergency surgery support to VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk. Occasionally she can even be seen intaking cases on the ER floor!
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in Maine, hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga, and reading.
