Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Chino Valley, Arizona. I grew up with three siblings and several animals. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
What was your first pet?
My Quarter Horse, named Spirit. I got him when I was 4 years old, and having him made me start barrel racing. He is now enjoying retirement to the fullest.
Do you have any pets of your own?
I have 5 horses, 6 dogs, 5 cats, 10 chickens, and a donkey named Marty. They keep me busy and they certainly let me know when it's feeding time.
When did you decide that you wanted to be a part of the veterinary field?
When I was a preteen. I have always loved animals and wanted to help them. I am currently working towards my Certificate of Veterinary Medicine.
