Dr. Karen Snyder earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University. She also attended veterinary school at KSU, receiving her degree in May 2000. She started working at VCA Welborn Animal Hospital upon graduation until she moved to Mississippi in 2003. Upon returning to Kansas the following year she again joined our hospital. In 2013 Dr. Snyder started providing emergency care in Topeka. She is thrilled to be back as our Medical Director. She enjoys emergency work, medicine, and preventative care.
