Dr. Roberts brings over 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with a diverse background spanning emergency and critical care, general practice, surgery, and dentistry. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care and is dedicated to meeting the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Roberts especially values fostering thoughtful communication about the essential role veterinarians play in public health.
Residency-trained in emergency & critical care and holding a master's degree in veterinary science, Dr. Roberts has contributed to the field as a published author, lecturer, and mentor to students and fellow clinicians. Her professional interests include infectious disease, emergency medicine, and disaster preparedness. She volunteers with the Front Range Veterinary Medical Relief Corps and is working toward her AVMA Veterinary First Responder certification.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Roberts is an avid endurance athlete, having completed several marathons, off-road cycling races, and long distance open-ocean swims. Fun fact: She has also served as a veterinarian for multiple sled dog races, including research work at the Iditarod.
