Samantha attended Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology and graduated in 2003. After graduation, she went back to her home state of California and obtained her RVT license in Anaheim. She returned to Colorado in 2007 and joined VCA Anderson after receiving her CVT license. VCA Anderson is the third VCA Samantha has worked at and she coordinates veterinary technician and assistant internships. She has two dogs, Nilla (a Chihuahua) and Joel (a Doberman Pinscher). She also has two birds, Castiel (a blue Parakeet) and Sammy (a Cockatiel).

In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking, card making, drawing, scary movies and video games. Her favorite video games are Final Fantasy VIII, The Uncharted collection, Resident Evil series, and Mass Effect series. Samantha loves to visit her best-friend Nikki in California and go to Disneyland with her, as well as road tripping with her best-friends Tracie and Sabrina. She also enjoys going to Denver's Comic-con and the Colorado Pen Show. She loves anything Disney and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, especially Raphael. Samantha is an avid Pittsburgh Penguin fan, which we always hold against her.
