Dr. Hernandez was born and raised in Chicago and is passionate about serving the community she calls home. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and recently completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Hernandez enjoys all aspects of small animal general practice and has a special interest in preventative medicine, surgery, and oncology. Her gentle approach and dedication to patient care make her a wonderful addition to our team.
When she's not caring for pets, Dr. Hernandez enjoys spending time with her family, baking, traveling, and being with her 4-year-old golden retriever, Jasper.
