Dr. Mandy Hollander graduated from Iowa State University College of Medicine in 2000 and has been an associate veterinarian at Avondale Animal Hospital since then.  Dr. Hollander has special interests in canine and feline internal medicine and ultrasonography. She is a member of many professional organizations including Greater Des Moines Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Iowa Veterinary Medical Association and American Association of Feline Practitioners. Most recently Dr. Hollander became a certified Fear Free Practitioner.  Dr. Hollander enjoys spending time with her husband, Marc, and their two children. Her family also includes a schnauzer, "Annie" and two cats, "Foster" and "Winston."
