Nikki is originally from Ormond Beach, FL. She obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Florida in Biology, and an Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College. Nikki moved to North Carolina in 2015, and enjoys the different seasons that North Carolina has to offer. Nikki shares her home with her husband, two sons, one bubbly dog, Penny, and a sassy orange kitty named Ozzie. 

Nikki has a passion for helping all species and has been a part of rehabbing turtles with NC States Turtle Rehab program and fostering rabbits from the SPCA. She is also a proud volunteer with Operation Cat Nip. This program helps control the feral cat colonies in the community. When Nikki isn't helping sick or injured animals, you can typically find her at a hockey rink cheering on her husband. Nikki enjoys traveling with her family, trying different cuisines, and visiting different breweries.
