Dr. Gillian Kruskall graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2014. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Tufts VETS in 2015. She has been working at VCA Brookline Animal Hospital since 2016 and is a member of the AVMA, MVMA and is USDA Accredited. She has also worked as a career counselor for the veterinary students at Tufts University, as an instructor for the Honeybee Medicine lectures, and as a wildlife veterinarian. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Conservation Medicine and a PhD in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology (One Health/Zoonotic Disease Surveillance). She lives with her husband, daughter, cats, chickens, ducks and honeybees. In her (rare) free time, she loves birdwatching, playing squash, selling antiques, cooking, and road trips to explore new towns and restaurants.
