Dr. Indu Mani graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1995, completed an internship in small animal medicine, surgery, and critical care from the University of Minnesota in 1996, and received her Doctor of Science degree from Harvard University in 2002 in Virology. She has a Master of Science in Animal Welfare and Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Bioethics from Albany Medical College. Dr. Mani is also the Chief Veterinary Officer at Instinct Science, publisher of Clinician's Brief, Plumb's, and Standards of Care. She is the current President of the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association and is a member (Hon.) of the Website Advisory Board for the One Health Initiative. Her professional interests include all aspects of internal medicine, end-of-life care, internal medicine, and infectious and zoonotic diseases. She lives locally with her family and Labrador retriever rescue dog.
