Dr. Lori H Feldman, who grew up in CT, is a graduate of Tufts University and its School of Veterinary Medicine, class of 1995. Before joining the team at VCA Brookline Animal Hospital as a medical director in 2006, she worked at VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital for several years before moving to NYC. There, Dr. Feldman was a staff veterinarian at a six-doctor practice on the upper east side of Manhattan, where she concentrated on surgical procedures, ultrasonography, and client education. She then worked at a private practice in Greenwich, CT before returning to MA with her husband and two children. An accredited veterinarian with the USDA, Dr. Feldman is a current member of the AVMA, MVMA, Fear Free Certified, AAHA certified, and also volunteers at Tufts Veterinary school as the chairman of the annual campaign (since 2016), a member of the Tufts Veterinary Alumni Association and a member of the President's council for Tufts University. In September of 2024 she received a Community Emergency Preparedness Award from Brookline for her work in teaching CPR and First Aid to the Brookline Animal Response Crew. She currently lives locally with her family and is the proud mama of two horses, four goats, two cats and chickens. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, horseback riding, biking and baking.
