Dr. Ho was born and raised in Northern California, received his Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science from UC Davis and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Western University of Health Sciences. He spent almost seven years in a 24hr emergency clinic before his transition into urgent care. He is very experienced in both routine and emergency surgeries. In 2026, Dr. Ho received Congressional Recognition for performing emergency surgery to save the life of a police K9 officer. In addition to dogs and cats, he also provides medical care for exotic pets and select AZA-accredited institutions (Association of Zoos and Aquariums). As a clinical preceptor, he enjoys training 3rd and 4th year veterinary students and watching them grow into confident, capable future doctors! Dr. Ho is happily married and enjoys spending time in nature with his wife and kids. In addition to being a veterinarian, he has experience and advanced training in prehospital and wilderness medicine.
